It's funny how life sometimes goes but I had to sell my 08 vfr having kids changes priorities. But I got a new ride earlier in the summer. All I can say I do miss the power of the 800 but the little 500 likes to rev and have fun. I do wish one day I can get an 800 again but time will tell. 900$ does still buy you a lot of fun. $_20 (3).JPG $_20.JPG $_20 (1).JPG

Nice looking bike. Having kids changes outlooks in all kinds of ways. Glad to hear you haven't given up on the hobby, just modified to suit your changing needs as it were. LOL My wife has a 1981 CB400T Hawk and it is immensely enjoyable to ride. I love heading out on it with the kids and heading down to some of the more local scenic locations around the area and then stopping for ice cream on the way home. The kids love the time riding pillion and it's a chance to share some really quality time with the kids one on one.

    Enjoy the new bike.

Slow down and enjoy the kids and scenery. Kids will grow up and you can't get that time back.

I do agree with that. Now when I can finish work early I do. Now motorcycle riding is mostly me commuting to work but every time I take it I remember why I still have a motorcycle.
