1996 VFR750 Headlight Fairing removal

    Unless they moved it for the 4th gen, it's not under the headlight fairing. It's under the top part of the RHS middle fairing.

    I've never heard of a cluch diode failing, btw. How did you determine this?

    Okay, now I have heard of one failing...two, actually! On the 3rd gen, it's on the RHS, taped to the wiring loom, under the top part of the RHS middle fairing.

    But I think it's under upper fairing on 4th gen, do you know?

    Sorry, I don't have a 4th gen. But it's easy to remove the middle fairing. Have a look there, and if you don't find anything attached to the loom, then remove the top fairing!
