that looks like a pretty fun test. I bet we'd have better riders on the street if you had to take that test! a lot fewer, too, which might work against all of us getting new bikes, etc...

Probably they crashed many times while learning to do that. I won't even try; it would be too expensive.

They did pretty well on the Harleys too, but the problem with the Harleys is that they can't lean very far without dragging parts. On a twisty road, a sports bike could easily out-run a Harley, although doing so would be irresponsible.

I disagree with you...I always see Harley riders passing sportbike riders in the curves! Once we hit the curves, it is like "WHOOOSH, POTATO-POTATO-POTATO" and the HOG riders blow right past us!

You better get your facts straight!

I can't believe that that's intended to be taken seriously.

just goes to show that a skilled rider on a big bike could probably run rings around some punk on a sportbike

The shodubai (I probably just butchered that) are that impressive. They come down to the military motorcycle training range at Yokohoma North Docks and give demos and show training drills they do- all of which is very much art and skill. Having ridden in Japan for 5 years, they have some very tight situations to get in and get out of. All the CA lane splitting squids think they are hot stuff, but they haven't been pursued by these guys.

Only person I know can spank most sport bikes at will, has a very modded Streer Rod, as D (OOTV) how well CHRIS throws it around corners.
