    Hi Gianluca

Welcome to the Madhouse from the French side of Mont Blanc:welcome:.

Hopefully one of the 5th Gen owners will be along to explain how to get access to the headlight to clean the inside of the lens.

When you get a chance post up a photo of your new motorbike, its easy - click the "insert image" icon, follow the prompts to select an image from your computer. You might also want to update your forum profile (Forum Actions + Edit Profile) to include the model and specifications of your VFR and your location so the information will appear automatically alongside your posts.

Good luck with your VFR - perhaps I may meet you at the 2017 Spadino Memorial gathering.

Howdy from Texas! Yup, got to see some pics of that 5th gen. I am becoming very fond of those. Glad I just don't have any money laying around or one might find its way home with me.

    Prego, Gianluca.

Looking forward to the pictures. I have pulled the front fairing off, but I have not gotten in to the headlights for anything. Always nice to see how others do these things for when I need to do them on my own bike.

Hello, I hope I have solved the problem, I removed the light and after cleaning the outside and I clean the inside with demineralized water, 20170131_203632.jpg 20170131_203626.jpg 20170131_221625.jpg 20170131_214944.jpg 20170201_075304.jpg I helped with a paper cloth. I let it dry (at my house there are 25 ° c) helping with the silica gel sachets. I ordered two 55/60 bulbs Osram Longlife. I will update you if the repair will keep in time!

Ciao, Gianluca. That was some extreme condensation! Check that the air vents on the back of the headlight unit are not blocked, but I doubt that was really the problem.

There is a European-spec 5th gen headlamp on UK eBay right now, but the seller doesn't seem to know it is not UK-spec, so he has not listed it as such. (You can tell by the "G" in while lettering on the back--like yours has. A UK-spec headlamp has "UK" on it...)

    Ciao,
