I have a vertical vibration in my front wheel at around 90mph... but I'm positive that's just a wheel balancing issue, especially since it only started happening after I got my new tire.

I have ballanced front tyre two times, and everything was ok, but wobbling not gone.
I think that problem is in center line of tyre, see in picture (red line)

Y2K owner here and late to the party, but no wobble. Glad you got her fixed. I run Pirelli Angel GTs and Wave Rotors (FWIW).

Vertical shake is usually tire balance.

Horizontal shake at low speeds is usually a worn front tire.

Horizontal shake at high speed is likely something much more sinister such as a steering head bearing and needs to be looked at ASAP.

You probably shouldn't be riding around with hands off the bars in any event - just saying ...

I don't generally ride with my hands off the bars but how else are you going to tell how bad the wobble is and in turn get it sorted?

Mine is '99 FiX and with the Dunlops I also had that dreaded 50mph wobble. I've since changed tyres for Michelins but not checked to see if the wobble has gone yet. Even though this thread was started almost a decade ago, I'll report back once I've had a chance to go out.

Rake and trail cannot be adjusted unless you push the stanchions up through the yokes.
