$3999, that's pretty steep. Trying to profit off of a famous name, I guess. Scratches, for four grand? Really?

Yeah, you're right. I bought my quite high mileage for $1900, so I can see a clean low mileage going for about that. Honestly tho, a previous owner's doesn't do anything for me.

It must have cost at least 4 grand just to piece it back together :witless:

Edit: The pic above is just a hoax guys - Nicholas Cage is alive and well. Since the pic is of a real accident it was probably in poor taste on my part to post this - sorry.

LOL - when I searched google images earlier for "Nicholas Cage motorcycle" on the off chance there might be a pic of him on the VFR in the ad I found several gag photos like that :glee:

I'm seeing lots of 5th gens. going up for sale in the SoCal area. Must be tax season or everyone selling to get the highest profit before riding season. Or the former and they are needing money to pay Uncle Sam. In any case here's a pristine 5th gen. for $5k and has only 6800 miles on the clock. All original even comes with original Dunlops. Where was this when I was looking for a new 5th gen? I wonder if the light scratches from 18 years of existence can be buffed out? I don't need it, I want it.

That's a nice one, but question the need for a fuel pump, unless it sat a long time. all gummed up? No telling what other fuel issues would show up? That's one thing with low millage machines, if they have sat all that fluid goes to shit. at least they addressed the issues, good on them. Still, I'd rather find one that has been rode, say 1-2000 miles a year so one with 20-40k ain't all that bad.
