Religion has killed more people than it has, or ever will, save. And that is a reality that will never change.

For once I have to agree with you :glee:

Another member sent me a nice PM offering to educate me on the muslim faith, etc, here was my response which I think will be my last word on this subject:

    Thanks xxxxxxxxx,

Yes, I'm well aware there are many differences between the Japanese of WWII and the terrorists of today - but there are also many similarities including their penchant for beheading helpless people for whatever reason. Hard to reason with them - hence my Wheel of Fortune plan. Many people still denounce the use of atomic bombs by the USA back then but I'm obviously not one of them. IMO my plan to deal with the war on terror would work - other folks including yourself obviously feel differently. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. No hard feelings - at least we were all smart enough to get a VFR :beguiled:

We might all be better off if all those "religions" went bye-bye.

a good first step to encourage peace in the mideast would be to force israel to accept the 2-state solution and stop building settlements on land conquered in war....against international law but supported by Us govmnt, kushner and riight-wing jewish extremists in many countries. :distrust:

For the record, I am not the member who trolled Greg in his personal message inbox! :topsy_turvy:

    That isn't my style!

Anyway, I agree that this topic has run its course and then some.

Let's also agree that murdering those concert-goers was a cowardly act. I compare these "MURDER" (not "suicide") bombings with the monks who burned themselves alive in public. THAT takes balls!

Considering SA King Salman is well know in the ME as "The" Leader of the Muslim brotherhood and supporter of most of the militant Sunni Jihadi groups I'm guessing sarcasm in this statement.

Minigator likes to make up shit so it's doubtful anyone trolled his box. No need to troll him in the first place. "Mute" point.

If a few Muslims got on the bandwagon with self immolation, the irony would be that they would probably use gasoline from their crude production.

I believe that you should show your true conservative commitment by hand carrying tactical nukes into Tehran and manually detonating them. Take Gator Greg with you. Really show those people who is the boss.

Some really productive responses here. I've yet to read a single alternative suggestion to my own on how to solve the terrorism problem - just a bunch of pacifist malarkey, GatorGreg bashing, and offers to lecture / educate me :beguiled: I can only imagine the whacko stuff being posted by PyschoBB since I have him on my ignore list - I assume he's still advocating for my death as NoVFRBoy is now doing just a few posts above :glee: Meanwhile, the terrorists are laughing their asses off at your concern for their children and are plotting their next mass murder of our own children. I think I will start a new thread entitled "the sky is blue" as an experiment to see how long it takes for certain folks to chime in and call me stupid and/or call for my death :witless:

One thing I like about VFRWorld is that people can speak their minds here, but tempers don't flame too hot and nobody gets banned by a mod. Unique among motorcycle forums . . .

If you like the forum so much then why haven't you become an "Insider" by donating money to help support it? You're not alone though - I could ask the same question of PyschoBB and NoVFRBoy :beguiled: BTW, thanks for showing your true colors above by "thanking" NoVFRBoy for his pathetic post advocating for my death :glee:

His was a political comment criticizing your casual suggestion to murder of millions of innocent men, women, and children. Quit playing dumb.

    Wait! What?

Before you said I was "stupid" but now I'm just "playing dumb" - you are obviously a very indecisive person :beguiled: To win the war on terror we need an action plan along the lines of what I've proposed earlier. Had our country followed your passivist advice we never would have carpet/fire-bombed Germany or nuked Japan because (gasp) thousands of children would be killed. All our members in Europe would be speaking German today and our Australian members would be reading their VFR Owner's Manuals in Japanese :witless:

I'm terribly sorry if my proposal for handling the terrorism problem offends some of you guys but I'm originally from Chicago where they are famous for handling things the "Chicago Way" :glee: In other words, if they pull a suicide bomber, we pull an ICBM (with a civilized 3 day warning of course).

This isn't the 1940s. And we aren't fighting a government that can sign an unconditional surrender.

And the "Wait! What?" went right over your thick head. But stupid people are unaware of many things that are obvious to a person of average intelligence, so there's that . . .

I might be able to muster some respect for your intellect if you suggest something that's feasible. I suggested the strategy of empowering regional dictators - like Putin is doing. What's your feasible idea?
