I'm sure you could bring it into a welding/fabricaton shop and have this TIG welded, however, the heat of the welding arc would for sure burn some of the shiny nickel plating off, and you would probably have to get it replated afterwards so it does not corrode. Might want to price it out first, and the cost of replating it (I guess it depends on how anal you are about looks), versus the cost of a new slip on.

Not too loud is a good thing. After all, noise is getting us in trouble in several cities as we speak. Denver, among others...

You might want to put a post up asking who has the Leo Vince's, and how loud are they/do they like them.

Go carbon fiber, you'll love the sound.
And the industry standard is dual exhaust on the 6th gens, I don't know what 2Bro's were thinking...

If you want deep & throaty, Micron (think of them as the Flowmaster of the Motorcycle world).
If you want American V8 rumble, Staintune.
If you want European sports car, Remus.
If you want something I can't quite describe, gut the stock exhaust. It kinda sounds like two Ducati's going down the road side by side.

These are the only four I've heard up close.

    KC-10 FE out...

That's my video. Yes, db levels are a concern to me. I wanted performance quality without attention quantity. The LV's have removeable baffles so you make them louder. You can also gut the cat for even more db's.

I now have those LV's on my 4th gen (no cat of course) and they a significantly louder even with the spuds still in. :frown:

Back to the original question. I would sell the tbr's and buy new with (hopefully) only a $300ish difference. You'll get exactly want you want with less hassle

That's bull! I had a link welded up, converted the dummy can to a proper muffler by drilling out that silly lock thingy, removing the rivets, welding it from the inside, adding a perforated pipe and packing. 111.2 Hp measured on the Dyna. Sounds awesome too! Just make sure that you leave enough wheel travel clearance when you have the link welded up.

    There you go .

I am not sure I agree with the guy stating the vinces sound like stock .Mine were sold minus the baffles , and this caused several Issues with me with not having the Vince Baffles .

My carbon fiber LEO VINCES sound nothing like stock. They sound awesome. The spuds are in a bag in the closet with them in it was a good bit quieter and it wasn't what I wanted. there is a clip in my gallery
