Time for new front rotors. Recommendations?

Hi everyone,

Been a while since my last visit, hope everyone's riding season has been as good as mine so far. I just finished a 16-day tour of the UK and French Normandy. In the mean time it's come time to replace the front rotors, I've got a wobble braking from about 100kmh down to 50kmh, and it's noticeable also rollin up to stop lights at lower speeds.

My options here in Germany are limited becuz parts have to be TUV certified to be road legal. Options are:
- Honda
- TRW
- Ferodo
- ProBrake (Wave)
- Brembo

Brembo is of course the most expensive, with TRW and Honda at a similar second place. Ferodo's and ProBrake's are also similar in price in third place.

Of course I don't want to cheap out on brakes, but I also don't want to break the bank on one name when another less expensive one is just as good. I'm not doin track days, the VFR is my spirited-street-riding and touring machine.

Anyone have experience with any of these rotors? Input appreciated.

however are you sure its the DISC's that are warped & NOT the BOBBINs that are seized.

My first suggestion is to check that your bobbins are ALL free turning.

 

Yup, not the bobbins, already checked those. Sorry, should have added that to the initial post.
