Anyone put a Corbin Gunfighter seat on their 2014+ ?

How do you like it and was it worth the $ compared to the stock seat?

I may be late responding, but anyway.
I can't speak for the vfr itself, but Corbin was a big hit on my old bike (FZ6) and highly recommended. I personally went with topsaddlery for the customization option and price. No regret on the old bike.

all right, pulled the trigger on the Corbin... 3 week delivery time....needed a back rest for the wife....this was still cheaper than honda top box with back rest. Report back after the first ride.

Me too, but a single rear would not be strong enough to mount a stable backrest.

Got it and sent it right back...too wide and too high...my feet barely touched the ground. Sent back with some disgust. My original instructions were....I am comfortable on stock saddle, just need a backrest. They took height, weight and inseam and then tell me they make a stock saddle. THEN WHY DID YOU WANT MY MEASUREMENTS? The reps on the phone are too nice to bash the company yet...I'll,give them one more chance. The are supposed to carve out the area for thighs and lower it an inch.

Just got my Corbin saddle for my 2014. I'm 5'9" and usually have the stock in the lowest position in the front, giving me room to bend my knees when at a stop. The Corbin is definitely wider all around, but most noticeable in the front when I'm standing. There is pressure on my inner thighs that felt weird at first. The saddle does seem to give about 1.5-2 inches of added height as well. Making me feel like I'm riding higher and farther back than the stock. Once riding though the added width in front doesn't bother me and the ride is definitely softer than the stock, although I have yet to do a serious ride.

The build quality looks really good. The saddle is definitely heavier than the stock by several pounds. I opted for the heated model and the hook up took about 5 minutes. I'll post an update in a month or two after I'm put some miles on the new saddle.

Heavier? Like 15 lbs heavier. For me it was way too high, I already added 1.25 inch risers, why would I want to raise the seat beyond the highest stock setting. much stiffer than stock seat, which was okay, but in stop and go traffic, city driving, lights, passenger....I need my feet on the ground, it's one of the reasons I bought the bike after riding an. ST1100 for 20 years.

Yes, I think stock seat is comfortable. As I told Corbin.....I need a backrest for my wife...so make my saddle close to stock I dimensions with a backrest..,they basically ignore me..,I'm out almost 800 bucks since July and the seat is still back there
