Does anyone have any experience with these light bulbs? I have seen postings for the night breaker series. Any info for my 08 VFR would be greatly appreciated.

I have never heard of them so can't help. Only thing is, I suspect they are not authorized where I live. All lights have to be DOT approved to be used here. And CSA approved which basically same as URL in the USA. I had to remove a complete set of HID lights from my bike and replace them with Piias which are DOT CSA URL approved.

I see in the data sheet on their site, it does not make any mention of DOT or URL. So I suspect they are not. Same with HID. But many here and other places run HID regardless of them not being legal, without having much problem with the authorities. I was aware of mine not being compliant and rode with them for a few years. Then I got challenged and warned to remove. He could have tocketed me but just told me to remove. I did not push my luck and just changed.

I do believe that LED headlights are approved and were written up with phots by zoom zoom here a few years ago. They produce a lot more light and distance than stock lights too. Worth looking onto AWP34

I have a set that is rated 55/100 watt - that is illegal in all states but man does it light up the road when it's dark and lonely! Like landing lights off an airplane. I may use them on the adv bike instead for off road. LED's are cooler and not likely to burn up the plastic reflectors too.....much to consider when using them. Be responsible when opposing traffic comes your way.

Thanks for all the input. Lots to think about before pulling the trigger.
