This video is excellent. Shows all of the features and compares it to other sport touring bikes. And he owns a VFR.

I've grown too old and too sensible to ever want a bike faster than my '97 VFR. If i did replace it, probably go for a Triumph Speed Triple R. Rode one at a demo-day and was very impressed.

I agree color has a totally unrealistic influence on the bike but you have to admit the red on the 02 and 2014 VFR is nowhere near as sexy as the red on the 07 and the 2014 FJR is as close as they get. Even though the 5 speed is noticeable now that I've had a 6 speed, I think I can over look it.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I did. You are getting the motorcycle equivalent of a Mercedes S550 AMG, a car well over $150k, for $22,000. Seems like a pretty good value to me.

I'll save the really fast bikes I want (S1000RR or R1) for the track, if something happened to my VFR, which is my street bike (and perfect for it), I would probably just get another VFR. Either a white 3rd gen or a blue 1200.

My '00 bumblebee will likely be going up for sale soon after buying her new 18 years ago. I bought a 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS on March 28. I just installed the Puig windscreen and OEM grab handles.

Nice bike! Had a KZ 1000 back in the day. A Kerker headers sound on it was amazing.

These bikes have what Kawasaki calls the first exhaust tuned for sound. It has a nice low end growl and at 7k rpm a second passage opens for a more racy sound. I have to say it sounds good to me.
