Those are the stock bolt holes for the top of the tank.

If you take the top portion of a ram bar mount, ie, the flat part with the ball rather than the metal U bolts, it should line up perfectly.

You might need longer bolts, but I don't remember if its necessary

Take the black cap off in the center of the triple clamp, and there's a hole.

The only problem that I had with mounting my phone to the bike was the direct sunlight on the screen and the heat that built up. I have a iPhone SE and it shut down on my from overheating. Plus I think that the screen could possibly black out. I did use a water proof case with a cover screen. Temps where in the 95f + . I don't like the case and may get one of these in the future. Let me know if anyone has had any heat or screen issues. Thanks in advance.

Mine is a 2014 dlx. I found the following mods and options useful:

    - R+G radiator guard
    - Powercommander V
    - DAM exhaust
    - Li-Ion battery
    - Motopump risers
    - lowered footpegs
    - USB socket
    - GPS/smartphone holder
    - Honda panniers

Probably the best mod would be good tires - but I certainly do not want to open that cam of worms. By the same token: Replacing the OEM brake pads with a set with more bite is a good idea. Standard brake setup is good, but needs too much hand pressure.

One area where I would not invest is the suspension. Unless you take the bike to the track, both the fork and the shock are high quality and suit the bike well.

Sure thing, here are your answers:

GPS mount: Techgripper by Ridermount (ridermount.com)
    Motopump risers: 1,2 inch high
Foot pegs: Sidtrax by Knight Design (http://www.knightdesignllc.com/Products/Motorcycle/Honda/VFR800/Honda-10-VFR800F-Menu.html)
USB socket; I placed this on the right upper fork stanchion, close to the upper triple clamp.

I also forgot to mention two other things the bike is eqipped with:

    - Tourtech tire puncture kit
    - Cruztools tool roll

Right now a Coffman exhaust (why the 8th didn't come with an under body exhaust from factory when budget bikes like the Ninja 650 and FZ07 do is beyond me.

Phone mount with quick charge USB charger.

    $5 Lowes tail tidy

    Flapper disable

    PAIR removal

    Snorkel removal

    Garmin VIRB tank mount

and waiting on my tank pad and RG tank grips to come in.

A cap fore the center rear wheel, SebSpeed clear clutch cover, LED underglow, TI bolts, cat-less header, RapidBike Race fuel controller, evap canister delete, and MAYBE a low boost turbo(bringing it up to around 110-120 WHP) down the line are one to-do list. Probably going to also buy a secong right passenger beg support and cute the exhaust mount off of it to clean it up a but more.

Thank you, just added a the black version Throttlemeister. A simple add-on, they provide a bar weight removal "tool" in the kit, which comes with a matching left side bar end as well. Had them before on previous bikes and missed the "once in a while" opportunity to give the right hand a few moments off the grip when conditions safely allowed.. will post a night pic of the aux fog lights.. they really do make you much more visible, even in the daylight, which is why I added them... the group I generally ride with mostly all have some similar or same, in a group they look like alien ship landing lights..

    Hi Amoreira88.

Where did you mount your Denali Split SoundBomb please?

Did you do the same as Samuel?

If not, any chance of some photos?

    Many thanks.

I’ve put a Tankslapper protective film kit on every bike I’ve owned for the past 20 years.
Have the full body kit on my 14 dlx.
    Great products—invisible protection
