Very impressive Straycat, all your bikes are fantastic condition. I dont know how you do it, my OCD brain would blow up with trying to keep all the bikes perfect.

Here's what I could come up with. There's a few more and some in project stage. Vintage stuff next.

Yep, my OCD is a bit of a problem, there is always something to be sorted on one of them. The good news is, after seeing Captain80's collection, I realize im not as sick as I thought I was. I said to my wife "see, this guy's got 41 bikes, Im ok for a few more". she says "is he married ?" LOL . Seriously though, im fortunate to have a wife who encourages my hobby and tries to convince me to keep stuff when I go to sell it.

Both you guys have awesome fleets...I'm just a squirrel looking for a nut. A tip of the hat for keeping those bikes looking like new.

    A few things...

First of all, thank you for the kind comments. It is very appreciated. Sometimes I walk into my shop and think I am sooooooo smart. Other times I think I'm such a fucking idiot. It's a lot of work, but I do love it.

I am married (23 years), and I admit some of the bikes pictured are hers. The '89 CB-1 I restored for her, it's sweet. The '85 CB400 Super Hawk III, which is actually a domestic market bike brought back to the states by a Boeing pilot. It's pretty cool with triple disc brakes unlike the U.S. models. Prob the only one in the States. NX125 is hers. The red '67 CL90 is hers, but we are yet to get some miles on that one after the rebuild. I promised to build her a VF500F, have all the parts but that project keeps getting pushed back. She also has a 1993 XR200R, but I think her single track days are over.

Not pictured: Z50AK0 (a little rough, but complete), CT70K0 (nice, 1700 miles, but needs the head gone thru from sitting), CL175K0 (all stock one year only "sloper" motor, was thinking a "cafe" treatment, but all I see is dollar signs on that one. It might get sold for other project funds), Another TL250 (which is my actual second motorcycle ever, the first being a TL125 that got sold to get the 250). The TL250 pictured was my Dad's. 2 Kawasaki AR80s (one complete, you can kinda see it in some of the pics, and one in perpetual project state "KR80"). Custom VTR250F project that will make some progress this winter (it will be pretty cool, everything is finalized and is broken back down for paint), another 1986 VFR700F project that will also make progress this winter (mainstream mods including CBR F2 wheels and front end with stock bodywork, just a well sorted machine), A couple more VF750F, one of which is getting parts collected for a VF750R treatment, I pretty much have everything now), and another VF500F (not the wife's) that I have everything for as well including a yosh full exhaust and custom upper cowl from "the day". That one will prob get some skinny Hurricane 600 17" wheels for a period correct mod.

I did sell a 1986 CR250R recently so I may be back down to just 40?

Truth is, I dont keep them all on the road, all the time, so that helps with condition. I rotate a few of the classics each year to get some variety in the riding. the rest get time off and just lots of buffing and looking at :)

Understood.....I just got all of mine road worthy, licensed and insured. Here in Southern California, as you probably know, you can ride all year.
