    Hiya.

Can anyone make a suggestion on spark plugs for the 02 800?
Amazon is a byzantine nightmare, and the only thing listed as a fit is something from E3, which has terribad reviews.
Forum digging suggests the Brisk AOR10LGS but I was hoping to get an option or two based on rider experience.
She is running rich and the idle/vtec is visceral.

    Thank you

Why not just use the stock ones or Iridium ones from NGK for this bike. I'd give you the number but my bike is a 99 and not sure if they stayed the same with the VTEC. Just go to the NGK site and use the look up chart for your bike.

I might be overthinking it, but I assumed as technology progressed that more modern plugs would yield better results.

If NGK plugs are the best solution, I will happily grab some.

Not the Vfr per se, but many other vehicles of different kinds, and I have found factory recommendations for spark plugs run the best. factory recommendations are not always honest, sometimes to get you to buy from them, but in plugs, they do a lot of engine testing before it is released to us , and they would not want it running less than its best. Just my 2 cents.

    Entirely logical. Thank you.
    Ordered plugs from amazon.
Oddly, their vehicle fitment filter doesn't list anything but the E3's.
You have to do a vanilla search for NGK and then dig through the model numbers.

I'm sure there are other brands, but I've always found the NGK plugs to work just fine, and they are the right heat range for the bike as they are factory spec.

Fuel pressure regulator is where I would look at first?

    Update!

3 of 4 plugs were horribly fouled.
Replaced all with new NGKs, sounds like a new machine.
    Runs muuuuch smoother.

But i noticed my friggin front axle nut fell the hell off somewhere... so i am back to caging it until the replacement comes in.

    /facepalm

    Question:

I've been looking at Iridium plugs and notice there are two types listed for sale the VFR800.

    NGK IMR9B-9H and NGK CR9EHIX-9

There seem to be a sizeable price difference ($10 vs $25).

Anyone know what the difference is?
