Sorry to hear Randy, it’s never fun to be unwell.
I did meet an 82 year old who was skiing Whistler, but he wouldn’t do moguls as they play havoc with his knees.
Hope you recover and get back to normal fast.

Just a seasonal head cold and I am almost over it as of today. I will survive. The last thing I would want to do is deliver it to someone who is on vacation and has to travel by air in a few days.

    Hi oz vfr

I have a 2002 vfr800 and live in Lismore NSW. I saw an old thread between you and Jeff Barrett regarding 'rr, soldering and wire upgrades. Unfortunately when I click on pictures, they are no longer there. I was hoping you could direct me. Aware that this is not related to current thread, but I am not completely familiar with how this site works, beside I'm an old dog trying to learn new trix.

    Ta, Trygve

The soldering of the stator wires is a remedy for a ritual problem the 6th gen has with the stator. I recall the dialogue between Jeff and OZ but can't put my finger on that thread. The search engine here at VFRW is not the greatest for sure, especially for newcomers who are trying to get used to this platform. But the previous thread is titled "The Drill" and originally started by long time valuable member here, Mellow Dude. It was requested so often, and looked for by many without luck so I found it and saved it to my favourites.

Here it is and it is a very worthwhile read: https://vfrworld.com/threads/the-drill.52131/#post-579543
