Take the bolt out and put some anti seeze on it. Then it will always be easy to remove.

Took the 5 Gen to the CHP to have it inspected and approved for a salvage title. Got the approval, now to stand in line at the DMV to hand in the paper work!

Rode the 6 Gen to the DMV...after and hour and a half waiting for my number to be called, I was able to get my plate for the 5 Gen! Should get the salvage title in a few days. Now all I need to do is ride it more.

When the weather's been nice, I'm stuck working, when I'm not working the weather's been pretty crummy. Then I had distractions like the header Dynotune support...Life has a habit of getting in the way

Yesterday I had the blast of my life on the bike. It sure is a different bike after 9k rpm, and still smooth up until the redline.
It corners so well on the stock suspension, but I never had better suspension than the stock ones lol.
In the spring/summer the topbox is coming off to remove the rear pegs as well. Want to shed some weight and the airbrake.

    Couldn't wait, shed some weight:

Removed the pillion pegs, but I still need a little bit of storage on the bike for tools 'n stuff, but I can't mount the box without the passenger grab handles.
It looks weird, a bike without passenger pegs, but with grab handles...
A good eye knows that the box came from the tank, but I have a bagster tankbag too (which I don't use anymore because it's soft luggage)
Also relocated the preload adjuster (because ABS model) under the seat, also because I don't like the look of it on the side of the bike.

Meh, looks allright if I say so myself.

    Do what I did——
Since I’m not in Cali to take a closer picture, I just cut the pegs off the brackets to keep for the Givi mounting points, since I never have a passenger, but do always keep my V47 on.

@duccmann well that's kind of the issue here, should I resell the bike, it loses its value because it has been altered to the point of no return. I was looking for second hand options but they were 40 bucks a pop, which is way overpriced to cut off the pegs. I rather ride around with my little box than cut off the pegs :)

PS: just went in the garage and removed that pesky clutch safety switch because it bothers me all the time.

Looked at it in the garage. Bought it yesterday and rode from Palm Spring to San Diego.

Added charging port. Didn't have SAE connectors, but these Ali ones are also good for low current charging.

Not that I need it right now, because for some reason the electrical gremlin just left my bike :)

Today I started her up for the first time in 4 months. It gets cold and a little bit white here in Calgary, so the bike gets put away to keep her warm while the minus stupid temps go on outside.
Fresh HP4 Honda oil, new Honda filter and a new YTZ14S battery.... started up first time. Lots of smoke out the exhaust until she warmed up and a small amount of white substance in the oil sight glass (condensation and that disappeared after a bit) It was -18C outside.... Shut it down and wrapped the bike up again until the snow goes.

I just looked at her in the garage and then accidently hit her left rear blinker with my car door getting home. She didn't yell so all is good. ;-) Tight fit in a one car garage with washer/dryer, bike and car! ;-)

@duccmann I wanted to add some honda stickers too but can't decide on white letters or black letters.
I feel like white letters will fit the silver wheels on my 6th gen, but still...
