    Hi All,

I'm Nick and I'm a self confessed VFR lover. I've had mine 3 years now, it's a beautiful machine. Looks great, sounds mint, goes like stink if you make it but rides all nice and sedate too. Went touring round Picos in Spain last year and the bike loved the roads as much as I did (if you have been it's the best place ever, you need to go).

NY = North Yorkshire not New York.

Rains a fair amount here but when it's not it's proper biker country, there's some lovely twisty's outside Selby coming back to York through Cawood etc.

    Nick

Funny. I am glad you specified which NY. I saw your thread and assumed New York which is where I live. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome Nick. Is the bloke in the background fertilizing the grasses?

    Aye, the best mate, Rich.
He's a good lad, it'd been dry (for once), they needed it.

Hi Nick and Welcome to the MadHouse

Nice to see another Candy Glory Red 6th Gen in the fold. It looks like your bike is kitted out for the full OEM top box and pannier set, which makes it a great choice for long trips.

Over the years I have been to the North York Moors and the scenic railway several times. Last year a group of us headed over from the Alps for a meet in Harrogate and we enjoyed some brilliant riding and weather. However it was also obvious that several of the reservoirs were almost empty so I guess some of the locals were very happy when the rain did eventually return.

    Have fun and ATGATT
