Engine revs problem...

hi hi have a problem with me Vfr 800 v-teck 2002 bike running lumpy on idle like 800 revs and dies, when riding revs are droping down time to time and when on stationary pulling revs just a bit to make not die revs jumps up and down. when riding bike have load of power and feel fine. problem seams wors when hot any idea what that can be?

 

Throttle position sensor? TPS, any flashing FI lights?

 

on FI lights shows
1 fast flash
2 fast flashes
9 fast flashes

 

thats how it look to make it not die i hold the throtle a bit and its jumping...

I clear the fi errors and now dont show any but still seams same problem like sometimes one or two cylinders not fire but dont know why have new sparks and thay look fine.

Is the pump definitely pumping fuel?

Fuel filters?

 

i think it is as can go on road and just rev it and go on motorway and go ower 100 but on low revs is jumping and dieing soo need to have fuel in.

 

you need to short the plug it could have a red plug on it, could be black. On an ST1300 it was toward the back under the seat, you call that bike a Pan European I think?
Find out where the plug is and use a paper clip to short it. At that point your FI light should start blinking, longer blinks could be value of 10 possibly, shorter ones 1 maybe. It would really help if you had your factory service manual here. See what you come up with and keep us posted, I just wore one of my favourite garments, a Harris Tweed that I bought in Dunn Company 30 or more years ago. PEacE oUttie

hi thanks guys i have manual but didnt findany answerwhat would helpbut i fount it me self, one of the pressure hoses what gos to map sensor was disconected and bike get air leak and thats why was dieing on low revs and jumps around. now as i connect everythink like it should be bike works great.
