Compatibility question. (VFR800F 8th gen/VFR1200/VFR800X)

I am looking for a set of pearl white panniers. I cannot seem to find any but I can find VFR800X Cross Runner and VFR1200 cases of the same year and in my color. They look pretty darn similar but I sure as hell don't want to pay over $800 for something that doesn't fit and then have to hassle with a return. Especially as I cannot seem to find them in the US. I guess if I can find a set of red that is pretty cheap (Scratches etc) I could just sand it down and have it painted in the color I want (probably more expensive than I think) and only as a last resort... Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.

I'm in the same case (VFR800F model 2014/2015). My dealer told me I can look for cases fitting :
- VFR800X
- VFR1200F (NOT the X)

There might have to be bought some minor pieces to fit (he mentioned rubbers), at neglectible cost. But I would for sure beware for the exact colour... But I didn't buy these, as it's still too expensive to my taste, and I haven't contacted the local paint shop to have an idea of the cost of the repaint job (I guess around 100€). I don't know if he ship to the States (he's in the UK).

Vfr 1200 also fit but need to alter heatshield slightly. There is info on vfrd.

Vfr800 cases fit the Crossrunner, My mate has one and have tried it with my panniers. As mentioned above you will need the rubbers for the end of the footrest stays.
