If you would be so kind to aim me in the correct direction to locate a listing of Japanese motorcycles and related tariffs, I would be interested in seeing those. I did a search and all that came up were the tariffs imposed by the Reagan regime in the early 80's.

I don't believe there are any tariffs on Japanese products, except Pick Up trucks.

The tariffs are on Chinese products, which I am betting will become permanent. If so, production of Chinese made stuff will simply shift to Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Mexico, etc. I read recently foreign direct investment to Vietnam increased 200% in the last 12 months. This is a direct indicator of the shift to production there. Already, a number of Honda's & other Japanese brands, as well as Triumph are made in Thailand. KTM and H-D makes some bikes in India and sells these in the US too.

Whether or not the China Trade Ware continues, the momentum has already shifted towards sourcing products out of China.
