Hello fellow VFR riders, I'm Gabe. I recently got me an 2006 white in color VFR. So far I got about 25 miles of seat time but I like the bike. I'm in the process of changing some things with the bike to make it more to my liking.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the VFR and find out why folks are crazy about it.

Welcome, just remember these bikes are on the top heavy side.
What exactly do you want to change or add to the bike?
How old are the tires? Did you get maintenance records?
    Enjoy

Welcome to The World! Word of caution, once you start down the road of modification, it’s a tough road to get off of. I’ve already done 2 VFRs 01/09 and I think I’m almost done...I think.

    Thanks for the warm welcome..

Yes I'm aware of the bike been on the heavy side. Not a big deal to me. I. Fact the VFR is the lightest of all my bikes, I have a 13 FJR and 2 vtx 1800's.
So riding the VFR is no problem.

As far as mods. I already got coming a 2015 complete swing arm and a complete front end. I'm actively looking for 10 spoke wheels.

The bike has a scorpion exhaust but I will probably change that for something with a deeper sound.

I enjoy tinkering with my bikes... only the FJR is "stock" since I only changed the seat and added engine guards.

He probably wants to sell the hub and wheel together, I only need the wheel. I will contact him and see.
