Hi everyone. I was hoping someone with more experience with me could help me get my key issues figured out. On a bender last night I lost my keys that had one of the keys to the VFR on it. I have a spare, but would like to change the keys on the bike just in case that someone does happen to match my bike to the key. What i'd like to do is buy one of the cheap aftermarket ignition/gas cap/seat lock sets but simply swap out the cylinders as to keep the oem ignition switch and gas tank lock housing. Is this even possible, and how would I go about doing such a thing?

the EMGO company supplies ignition switches and keys that would probably wo9rk on your bike but no gas cap lock.
