    Let me "re-introduce" myself...

I was once an "Insider" on here for years. I have owned 2 5th Gens the last one of which I sold in April of 2017. I thought I was going to be taking a long break from riding. Turns out I miss riding so much but the Minister of Finance (read wife) says no to a bike this season.

SO...I need you guys and gals to keep me busy (and sane)...I intend to but some iteration of VFR next March but not a 5th Gen...nothing wrong with the bike...I want a new experience.

    Ride safe...cheers friends!!!!

Welcome back to the fold. Seems those Ministers of Finance can have a good heart at times, looks like yours sure did!

Buy her a brand spanking new high end vacuum cleaner and give it to her when you ride your new bike back into the garage. She will forget all about your buying the bike. A couple words of caution. ATGATT at the time.

The deed is done Randy! (and nice to "see" again) My wife has a brand new Shark Apex vacuum and I have a silver 08 with 23K kms on the clock! She will be satisfied Tuesday.

23K km is pathetically low. You have decades of good riding on that new to you ride. Mine has near 219,000 km and though has a gremlin issue We are trying to figure out, it has been a great machine over the years and I expect to get so many more KM when we figure this gremlin out. It is still rideable as it is. But I want it fixed before I head to Alaska next June.
