Any opinions on these crash bars?

    I'm currently getting my 05' painted and wanted to put something on to protect that investment.
    I understand there's not a lot of options for frame sliders for our bikes. I've seen the R&G one's but they seem to be sold out everywhere I look. I've also seen the t-rex one's but don't feel as if they'll give good enough protection for the front cowl.

    Here's the one's I'm thinking of getting.

    I purchased them and once i find a set of good used side panels plan on installing them on my 08 gen 6

    Nah, I got what you were saying. I think I may actually go with a different set but I’d love to see some pics if you ever get them on. Plus how well they went on and everything.

    Oh man. Those are quite the investment. I don’t know if I’m willing to cut my fenders that much. Looks to be the best for crashes though.

    I like the fact they would protect the key components of the bike but yes i agree not sure about that much mods to bodywork .
    But each to there own.
    Just thought i would share what's out there .
