I have a Bell RS-1 that is labled made in 2010. I think I got it a year or 2 after that. Good helmet, I'd say right up there with the 2 Arais I had before it. I went to Bell when the it was time for new, and Arai was $800! Versus $350 for the Bell.

To the point found the newer RS-2 model for $175 + tax = $192 shipped from Revzilla. The next best price I found was $65 higher. I looked, I leaped, after sleeping on it 1 night. I am not associated with the company at all. But a good helmet is a good helmet, and a smoking deal is a smoking dealo. :)

I've had a few rides with it and am happy with it. Fit and comfort is obviously individual, but it fits me well, and is comfortable.
Ventilation and noise are similar to the old RS-1. They got rid of 1 vent to accomodate the sun shade. Vents don't seem to me to flow much air, but this does not really bother me, crack the face shield open for some air. I always wear earplugs for the wind noise. The right side chin strap is extra long for some reason. It has a good magnet on the end that holds it in place so no flapping in the wind. Pretty much a non issue. The flip down sun visor is great, imho. Never had a helmet with one before, always rode with sunglasses inside helmet. This is better. If you need them out of the way because the sun went behind a cloud or something, no problem, no need to stop.

I can't think of anything to fault it for, except maybe the ventilation. But, I have not been out with it on a hot day yet. Maybe it would feel more useful if I was sweating. I would buy it again in any case.
