Does anyone know how the traction control system works on this bike?

does it cut cylinders? or close throttle bodies?

Where is the 'brains' ? is it in the abs unit or is it in the ecu?

does the abs unit have anything to do with it other than sending the wheel speeds to the ecu?

I've scoured the internet and I cant find any information anywhere on it.

    any help greatly appreciated.

    From my manual:
    "TCS utilizes various PGM-FI/ABS components.
The ECM constantly detects the speed variance between the front wheel and rear wheel. When variance exceeds the specified limit, the ECM reduces the fuel supply on the basis of target torque."

I have had mine kick in a couple of times, when I have hit hot tar snakes under power. Very quick and short.

No, automatically reduces power to the rear wheel on loss of traction.

I was being facetious. 99.9% of the time when my TC is kicking in it's because I'm trying to loft the front wheel.
