Happy New Year to all. My Christmas was blighted by the theft of my beloved vfr1200f from a hotel carpark in the West Midlands, Walsall in fact. The UK. This happened on the night of the 16th November 2019 which was a Saturday night. It hasn't been recovered ( stripped for parts probably) and my insurance gave me a generous payout, but I am still out of pocket. Plus the loss of my bike which deeply affected me. I've bought another bike, not a Honda, no, a Yamaha mt 09 Tracer. I'll get my hands on it on Sunday 12th Jan this year. A few days in fact. Please don't think me an apostate to the Honda brand. The vfr1200 was a brilliant machine, but so is the Tracer, and a few pounds lighter. I hope I can still dip into VFRW0RLD now and then and not be shunned. So there it is. Have a good year in the new Decade. Saul.

That really blows. All bike theives go to Hell. I've ridden the Tracer and it is a terrific machine. Good Luck Saul.

Had wondered why you dropped off the site for awhile and I'm a little pissed to find out why. Best wishes and good luck with the new moto. I don't give a hoot what you ride, always enjoyed your atmospheric posts. :drink1:

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep in touch. I now have the Tracer and it's a good machine. It's red like my old VFR which is a comfort. Thanks again for the kind comment.

Thanks Norca, nice to hear from you. It was a sad moment for me when I walked out on a cold, damp Sunday morning to find my bike was not there, no where to be seen; I actually walked around the carpark looking for it, in case I'd parked it somewhere else, but I knew I hadn't. Bike theives are SCUM. Thanks for the comment. Have a good 2020 my friend.

Hello Laker, thanks for the comment. The weather here in Wales isn't so good so I haven't been able to go far on my Tracer but I'm liking the bike very much.
