Has anyone tried this rear light LED with clear lens? It’s out of Germany. I’ve never seen one like this before.

I have considered those in the past. Except, I wanted the smoked lenses. There is another thread on here somewhere and if I recall correctly, the general consensus was that the fitment and quality was pretty good. No English instructions available at that time.

One thing that would concern me though, is that if you switch to an LED signal light on our bikes, or any non LED light vehicle, you need to have some sort of resistor on any flashing lights for them to work proper. Without the resistor, the lights flash extremely rapid. I don't know if this set up has a built in resistor to deal with that.

If that is from Thurn Motorsport, they are equal to the oem taillight assembly, with regards to quality. I had the non-led, smoke version, and the only issue is that the wiring wasn't exactly a simple bolt on, didn't come with the plugs to plug directly into the harness. It required more work to get connected up than I thought was acceptable for what they were charging. Hopefully, they have fixed all of that. They do look nice when the installation is completed and everything is functional. Installed on 2006 800.
