I've also posted this in the classified, but not everyone checks in there, so....
I'm in search of an excellent condition, stock, 1986 VFR750 red/white/blue. Must be original paint and in excellent condition. Low miles a bonus.

Thread going off topic a bit, but I agree, lovely. Imo, the last of the true sporting VFRs. It was 25 lbs lighter than the 90-93 with a center stand! The styling can be polarizing, but I love them. A few years back I had a complete set of very nice bodywork waiting for that cosmetically challenged example to come around for the right price. Never did, so I sold off everything for other bike parts. Still want one, probably will happen some day.

Good luck on the 86 hunt. They are still my favorite... obviously. I have 4. Two RC24 and Two RC26.

This last one is the next project. Sat outside for 7 years. Already have 94 F2 forks rebuilt and 41mm triples ready, Nitron remote res shock, F2 wheels, gauges and upper cowl stay are already restored. Brakes front and rear are completely rebuilt and ready. Brand new Kerker slip-ons ready in the box just like on the 86 Limited above.

Yeah, I like the look of the fourth-gen too, throughly 80's but that NACA duct just screams NR panache. They're also more comfortable for my aging frame, and this one is uncommonly fast for whatever reason. I've added bar risers, heated grips and GPS...very nice gentleman's sport tourer.

    Hey, we got pics.....
