Check it out, really friggin nice. Where in the heck do these people get the HRC and AHC parts?

Does ANYBODY on the forum have any of the ultra rare goodies or know were or who might be hoarding these ? Like any parts? These would be from the Honda "Power Up Kits". Also, anybody fit RC30 parts on a 2nd gen Viffer? I found a bunch, and was thinking about scooping them up.

All it takes is money and the sheer force of will to spend it.

ever see a real factory-made exhaust system for that bike, nothing like what's on that replica. hand made from about 100 small pieces of stainless, flawless welds, belongs in a technology museum.

The real deal, in the paddock at Laguna Seca, circa 1988. Rider - Bubba Shobert. Also saw Merkel race in his last race at Firebird, before his career ending off in 1995. He was airlifted and never returned.

Its finding the parts thats hard...I have some money saved for this project..but parts are not to be found. Because of the gear driven cams, NOBODY wants to even try to make some for it. Which I don't get, you can adjust the tappets, and shim the carriers.

I see your from Edmounds Wa, I used to live in Kingston, and take the ferry everyday on one of my many bikes at the time. I was poor then, and my brother and friends would go the bar down by the ferry terminal to the south that had Thursday steak night. We used to call it Miss-take night. They sold a stake (of some form of meat) a “salad” and pitcher of Redhook for $6.00. Then a $1.00 stake after that.

    Do they still have it?

Channel Marker. Still there, kinda. Moved 1 block South in the Industrial Park where a Mexican joint used to be. 2 for 1 steak night on Thurs... yep. One of the few places left that have decent pool tables. Buddy of mine and I will go down and walk in... Fuck. Steak Night. But a table is usually open. Older crowd now, place empties out when they're done with their steak.

I've been many times when it was still next to the train tracks. Nice pool table space, pretty good shit show. People fucked up. I think they are all the same people, just older now.
