I turn 55 next week. Been riding since I was 20. No plans on stopping anytime soon. Love my white 93. Can't wait till spring.

If there’s any boomers that remember the show
Mr Wishbone my buddy won a minibike on his show and that was the first one I ever rode and never stopped

Bummer I ride year round in LA, but won’t be able to do so here in CO once I’m out here for good come July
    Roads are ice
Already feel like I’m a junky needing a fix only after 6 weeks here.
Leave tomorrow and will go up to the snake AKA Rock Store later in the day Sunday once ALL SQUIDS have passed through.
    Low 70’s there
    25 here now in CO

Managed to get out a couple of times in the last week. One of these days I will get down to the old stomping grounds too. Rock store and the Crest.

I used to wake up Grumpy, but now I just let her sleep in a little longer and go make the coffee.
As for complaining, I discovered nobody was listening........

Back in 1985 I lived southern Cal. One day I went for a ride out to the Rock store on my 83 VF750. Pulled into the lot and pulled my helmet off and this young squid said “what’s an old guy like you riding bike like that?” I am 75 now, still riding the same bike and my 8th gen! I didn’t feel old at 40, but definitely feeling my age now. The only time when I feel good, and get away from the pain of arthritis is when I am on my 8th gen.

I hope I will still be able to ride when I do get old. I fear the day when I get there.
