    Greetings from Western Canada!!

I'm not new to the riding scene (20+ years) but just purchased a practically new 7th Generation VFR1200 DCT despite it being a 2010 model. Has only 1000km on the clock after being discovered in a crate at a dealership that forgot to be opened at the time. Hoping that the "stealership" was true to their word and sensible enough to change all the fluids and undergo the necessary maintenance for a preserved VFR.

I have owned a CB750, CBR1000RR, and continue to own a VT1100 Shadow (Aero) from Honda, so I'm not a stranger to the manufacturer. Really looking forward to riding a VFR as I have been overcome by the hype and reviews. Here's to all of you and the 2020 riding season!

    Welcome to VFRW Cash Robinson!

Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable.

Could you clarify? Did the bike have 1000km on the clock when they opened the crate?

Sweet find! I Would also make sure that they changed the tires. Crate or not, those tires are 10 years old and cannot be trusted.

Welcome. Where in Western Canada. Western Canada starts at the Ontario Manitoba border. If you are a Lower Mainlander, we just might meet up for beer or coffee.

Welcome. I ride the Icefields Parkway at least once a year. Maybe we will run into each other along the way.
