Official riding season in Kansas started with the monthly run to Cassoday, Kansas.

My morning began by meeting one of my local VFR pals at one of my favorite places.

Then a quick zoom up to the rally. Seemed the whole state was there on the beautiful pre-spring day.

Rhinoware was soon to pull up on his silver babe. He pops up here and there and even spied me on the side of the road before. So super to see he's still out and about.

There are many more Kansas VFRs around. Passed a red 6th gen on my way back to town. My pal rode with a red 8th gen later in the day.

Anyhoo... mostly cruisers at these rallies. Though I finally saw The Beast in person. Was pretty frickin' awesome!

Such stories the rider had of how each thing on the bike had a story and was sentimental.

I did not sign The Beast yet. I wanted more time to think of a meaningful way to sign.

    Gorgeous Kansas Day!

Thinking there's enough of us coming around that a central states rally is a superb idea!

That bike reminds me of some of the cars and minivans I see stuffed to the gills with stuff. Barely enough room for a driver.
I figure they are homeless. Hopefully this guy is just a collector or something. Not homeless.

Looks like a fun time. That can't be all the people in KS. :)

I imagine it handles as rough as it looks!

Great question. Maybe the answer is quite a few pieces of both?!

I hope he doesn't park by the garbage dump. It will be collected for sure. Nice pics AM. Reminds me that this F-ing Winter may end soon.
