Wow that would be fantastic, thanks, anything that helps me communicate to Eastern Beaver would be helpful. Plugs, Pinouts, and approximately lengths.

    Ok I’ll get onto it.

Here is are examples of trigger switch on other bikes, from when I used to make up switched accessory harnesses for bikes.

Are you going to ask Eastern Beaver to make up a full harness including trigger?

Here is a quickly drawn wiring diagram. The wiring is drawn that way because I have the cables in sheathing and its how it sits on the bike.

    Vfr800FE Accessory HarnessWiring Diagram.jpg

The components are linked from Eastern Beavers website.

    Components Required.

Sumitomo HM .090 Waterproof Connector set - 4 Position (as you have the accessory lead you will need both male and female connectors).

I used the metripack 280 but you could use the newer Furukawa ones .

20 A micro relay and base.

    Cable Run Lengths.

    Trigger to relay = 72cm

    Battery + to Fuse = 24cm
    Fuse to relay =55cm

Relay Earth to Battery negative = 50cm
Accessory Fusebox to Battery negative = 72cm

Switched live to Switched + Accessory Fusebox = 78cm
Relay feed in to Perm Live Accessory Fusebox = 84cm

    Cables Sheathed.

5cm after main fuse to 5cm before relay

5cm from accessory to 5cm before relay with cut out for Earths which are sheathed to battery.

    Pin out for accessory socket.

    Pink Do not use
Red/Green Perm Live = Do not use
    Green = Earth
Black/Yellow from 10A Acc fuse = Switched live

I think so. I mean, ideally that's what I would want. Once I have the fuse block situated, then I can simply add things as needed. But I want a nice clean fuse block installation, preferably without splicing or positaps.

That is what you need. You disconnect the Honda accessory plug, plug the trigger harness in and then plug the accessory plug in the other end. It’s that simple honest.

Is far as I know I was the only person who made them. I stopped last year.

If your going to get eastern beaver to make you the harness, then get them to make a trigger. You have my permission to show them the pictures. It’s not that hard to do and i’ve given you all the info you need.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I don't believe they have a harness for VFR800F do they? Its sounds like they will need to take the trigger info you gave plus add power/ground connections to make a complete harness.

OR you could make it yourself and save some money The only real outlay are wire crimps.
