Are there replacement gears that can be bought to fix a broken odometer? The '86 VFR 700 I bought Saturday tries to "tick" over the odometer, but it's been stuck for the last two owners. The tripmeter and speedometer on this round unit work fine.

For my '85 BMW K100RT, I took the speedometer unit apart, and replaced 3 gears to get it's odometer working again.

I'm watching a used, round speedometer unit on ebay for $80, which of course is another path to a working odometer.

If you or someone you know has a 3d printer you can easily build one.
