My Bking got really scary last week when the rear end got that squirrelly feeling at speed on the 405 Freeway. Flat rear tire and I was enjoying that horsepower in the fast lane. Thankfully got off the road without getting hit and limped off the freeway. Very life affirming event.

Rode a lot of different machines back in the day working for a main dealer bike shop,

And at 18 years old the mortality filter has not really kicked in yet, but I have to agree the Kawasaki 2 stroke triples were truly scary, frames made of gum and sticking plaster and no brakes most of the time, the other bike that worried me at the time was not for its speed or handling, but if I dropped it I knew I would never be able to get it back on it’s wheels, a Z1300 6 cylinder was more than a match for a weedy 140 lbs teenager

But life was really fun back then, riding all the new bikes straight out the box, and very few officers of the law to spoil your day, I am actually surprised I am still here with the things we used to do.

The most scary one was a well used late '70ties Husqvarna WR250. I bought it together with a buddy the summer I turned 14, without asking my parents. I was very small for a 14yo and had to use a soda cask to get going. Man that true two-stroke poweband, mad acceration and less than perfect technique. It scared me good, but was also very addictive.

You're scared because you need your license to earn a living?
What does that have to do with the bike specifically?
Can you elaborate how the bike scare you? other than you would lose your license.. a poor rider can lose their license on just about any bike.

Had a V65 Sabre back in the late 80's, couple times went a buck and a quarter on county roads, good thing I later wrecked it before it killed me as I had two kids in diapers. Best damn engine I ever had, what a beast, effortless power all thru the power band.
