Thanks again, CR500. The fact you’ve done it is very encouraging!

That bike looks awesome and I like the black cush drive cover. Fits nicely with the black chain guard and black front fender.

I’ve got a lovely 5th gen shock from Wilbers (suited to my weight) so will try and use that on the 6th gen swinger. The 5th gen links are shorter but the shock is longer than 6th gen. Not sure what to do there.

I’m planning to use the 6th gen cushion too. You kept the 5th gen cushion and pegs on yours so that’s another unknown.

What do you mean by cushion?
And are you not reusing your original foot peg mounts? If you are not then youd need to use a 02 up swingarm bolt/ nut.
I would use the linkage For the arm you are using.
Get your height right with either a new clevis/ upper shock mount or adjust the shock itself. i seem to recall not being able to mount my original dogbones. It put everything in a bind. Shock wise. I will dig up my notes tonight.

    Thanks CR500.

Cushion is the swingarm mount bracket. The part the swingarm bolt goes through and rearsets fasten on to.

If I use the 6th gen swingarm and cushion/bracket will they fit the 5th gen engine and will my 5th Feb shock fit?

Those are the questions keeping me up at night!

    gotcha.
id bet the swingarm mount would fit. i cant imagine the shock being much effort to make work. if anything ride height would be adjusted to suit.
you could always get an adjustable pull rod. i took that off mine, someone had the rear of mine hiked up pretty tall.
are you wanting to use that mount to use the 02 up foot pegs assemblies?
