I am researching systems that will allow hands free Bluetooth connection to my phone.

    What I DON'T want/need:
    - I don't need a communication system as I don't ride in groups.
    - I don't want external helmet devices, unless it includes an integrated camera. *

    What I DO want/need:
    - Completely in helmet system. I wear full face, so the microphone can wire into the front without a boom.
    - Good quality audio and connection to the phone using Android/Google voice commands.

    * I am "debating" if I want to include a camera such as the Sena 10C Pro, but it's just too pricey for me right now and I have front and rear cameras on the bike itself. If there is a less expensive alternative but not huge and bulky, I'd consider. I like the Sena Prizm Tube, but I don't think that has connection to phone.

    PLEASE ADVISE!
    Signed, Dazed and Confused. :drunk:

I think you are going to struggle for a fully internal system. Have never seen anything yet that is fully internal.

Closest is Schuberth or Autocom which sit in the helmet collar everything is either mounted on shell of cable from bike.

Here's a cheap one I picked up to try... bit over $100. It has 2 phone BT connections so you can pair say GPS and phone... it has a 1080p camera..... again, figured it was toy money to try it. Not sure if it pairs well with Sena or Cardo, etc. for intercom, but will connect with up to 6 of it's own..... hope to try it out next week. PS, a US source is trying to flog these for ~$275....

I've also got a Maxto M3. Music sound quality is great, battery life has been good, and image quality seems decent as well, it's 1080 not 4k but seems sharp enough. Recorded sound quality is not great (mainly wind noise). It is supplied with a clamp that tightens to the shell, or you can use an adhesive pad and just stick the mounting clip to the shell; I did that to my Shoei as the clamp wasn't going to squeeze in neatly. The speakers fit very neatly into my GT-Air lid.

That was a small section of the Coromandel Loop ride which takes about 6 hours total from home, lucky me. I also get to ride year round as it only goes down to 5C in winter.

I bought a used Cardo Scala Rider Q1 off an Ebay seller. It was missing the other unit as a "team set". No problem, I just wanted to get an idea of the in/on-helmet functionality. I figured, I have the on-bike front and rear cameras for now, and just not ready to fork out hundreds for a good helmet com/cam unit yet since I'm going bankrupt on some other bike modifications right now, haha! Anyway, I got this for $40 shipped. Works like it should, but I'm not super happy with the overall volume. That may be due to my exhaust and HJC RPHA-11 helmet (quite noisy re: wind), but I love the helmet. My wife says she hears me quite well though via the phone, so I guess the built-in noise suppression works good. I've never had distractions such as this, only the phone as a GPS on the handlebars on past bikes. I'm not ready to give this a final review though.
