Longtime lurker on VFRWorld, first time member. Don't be scared of the post count or join date. I am on many other auto/moto forums online and have done a lot of business in the community over the years.

Liquidating my motorcycle and parts as I no longer ride or build bikes.

For sale is a good condition clutch cover for the gear driven engines. I know these are in short supply so I'd like to get $160 shipped to the lower 48. But please give me some feedback if this price is off point.

very very slight rash on the fins and lower portion as shown in pics. Could easily sand out and fill before paint/powder or window job.

Part is located in Missouri. PM for additional contact info.

I'll be damned. Thanks for the heads up. I thought these were NLA for some reason. But yes I see them now listed as available for $223 from partzilla. Sure they may be cheaper elsewhere.

    Updated my price accordingly.

    Pay it forward.
Think it’ll work on a 6G as well for a SEB modification

P.I.F means that for the good of the community and good Karma, donate it to someone who can make use of it.

As a general rule for used parts, unless it's something ultra rare and sought after (like Gen 3 body panels) or unless it's new old stock, about half of new is a good price point - you're about there with your last revision.

These are direct fit for and identical to 6th gens as well, so they were used for at least 13 model years. They'll probably be available from Honda for a good while yet.

Wow thats a first. I really appreciate that sense of the "community" on various boards etc and have certainly paid it forward in various ways over the years, but this is the first time I've posted something for sale and had people self-seriously tell me I should give the part away.

I respect you guys but that was an interesting response. I obviously was under the wrong impression when I thought these case covers were NLA so I updated my price to reflect. Hell maybe I'm still off base, but $100 for a part is not "nothing".

I support the boards and other members by consuming large sums of used parts other people have sold of the years. Totally many thousands or tens of thousands of dollars on various projects and never have once asked someone to provide it to me for free. Idk
