From the research I have done, this RWB 8th Gen was for the Japanese market in 2019. I am not sure if this color scheme was made available to any other countries. I would love to acquire the bodywork but have no leads on how I could do that.

I imagine that the key pieces here would be the gas tank and the cowl. The white lower fairings and side panels could be easily sourced in the US market, but then I would need to locate the RWB decals. Does anyone know how the full set of bodywork or just the gas tank and decals could be sourced? I would be content to piece this together anyway I can. Thanks.

Bearing in mind the cost of Japanese plastics and the cost of postage, would it possibly be cheaper to have your existing fairings resprayed by a good spray painting business?

It might be cheaper but there is nothing like OEM. I would consider going that route only if I could get the OEM gas tank and decals.

    That's sexy!
I hope you plan on a white wheel conversion too. The bronze US standard wouldn't do this justice.

Front fender too, although a US spec white would look good as long as the base color of the rest is the same.

Yo didn't say what colour your bike is presently. If it is the pearl white now, I would consider painting just the blue parts, then go into an automotive graphics designer and get the red parts done as a wrap. The wrap would probably only cost you a couple hundred and the painting another couple hundred. To order new tank, and plastics I would think could cost you a couple grand.

But I agree that you should get the wheels done white as well for aesthetics. But be prepared to spend a lot of time cleaning brake dust off the white wheels.. The 6th gen RWB has charcoal coloured wheels that disguises the brake dust very well, and looks not too bad on that gen.

Yes, I have already gotten the bronze rims powder coated white. That was one of the first things I have done. I don't think I have ever owned an Interceptor where I didn't powder coat the rims white that weren't already white. I have OCD, so it is no problem keeping them clean ...

And obviously, I have the red plastics. I would much prefer to get the OEM tank and plastics as that would look legit. I have emailed a couple of importers waiting for a response.

I would love to get the 800 looking more like my 1986 VF500F ...

I have removed my graphics from mine and the panels are in for painting back to all white. I won't even have the Honda wings on the tank this time around. I just grew tired of my graphics. Have considered a custom paint job n it though. Except I seem to drop it a little too often to do that.

Good luck on getting what you want. It is a very handsome looking bike in the RWB.

I didn't think that wraps would be an option, but that looks really nice. I will have to research that more.

I actually thought about trying that, but all of my time this winter was consumed by the 500. Spring is coming, so that might be something I try next winter.
