    hmm

If you really fancy a used 2019 VFR800F in Red White and Blue colours then there is one currently listed for auction sale in Japan at just 1,398,001 Yen (12,700 US Dollars) plus shipping, plus taxes and in a few drunken clicks it can be yours in roughly 16 hours from now!

    https://www.ts-export.com/auction.p...1&p=VFR800F&x=15&y=14 &mode=1&slider=0&rfk=1

Does look rather good and has only done 344km (215 miles) since registered in September 2019. I can see a few of these appearing on the grey bike market from autumn 2022 when they are 3 years old and come up for the chronically expensive testing process in Japan. That is a year or so off and currently this listing at around £9,200 (€10,800) plus roughly the same in shipping etc to Europe means you really have to be very keen on that colour scheme.

Meanwhile standard 2014 models can now be had from around €5,000 in Europe.

If I had unlimited funds, then that would be an option. In reality, I would think that the tank and bodywork would just cleanly match up to a 2014, so it doesn't seem like it should be that hard to get the bodywork imported. I did reach out to two different resources that I found online and have not heard back. Somebody on this thread also posted an option for wrapping the bike. That too might be a consideration. I love the RWB and in the US on the 8th Gen, it would be unique.

This bike looks really nice. I like the angular muffler upgrade especially too! Bronze wheels would still be ok IMO. Bronze or gold wheels is usually an upgraded / sport model color. Either way. Having custom painted several bikes in my life time, one of which was in a Cycle World show, I can say that converting a white VFR to the RWB followed with a full clear topcoat would be extremely easy and a very economical solution. This paint job is very simple in design and with a vinyl cutter the logos could be done in paint with no need for any OEM decals. I'm surprised someone has not already done this on a white VFR. If I had a white one I would be sanding body work now : ) A red one obviously would be a ground up re-make. I would keep all the OEM red body work, collect duplicate parts off ebay or wherever, and then apply a full RWB paint job.
