Weird sound from clutch?

Hey all. Just picked up a 2000 Viffer today. Just noticed this odd sound coming from the clutch. Can anyone identify this? It can be heard while in gear. It is not present in neutral. However, in neutral you can hear and feel something while in neutral actuating the clutch lever.

Does it come out of MC or RHS clutch cover?
Does it happen when engine is off as well?
Did you disconnect small switch under the MC to see if it still makes that sound?

 

You mean the lever sound? There is a brass bushing in the lever which can get scored and oval. Take the lever off and inspect, replace if necessary and grease with silicone grease (tends not to wash out).

It sounds to me like more than sound from a worn bushing. With it being a hydraulic clutch would it make any difference to the lever if it was in gear?

Where the noise is exactly coming from? Lever / MC, clutch LHS or RHS rod pushing mechanism?
