After wanting VFR/Interceptor for well over a decade, one came up for sale that I wasn't going to pass up. Last month my kid gets Covid causing me to cancel my fishing trip to Tenn. That very same day the ad pops up on FB for the bike. The world works in mysterious ways.

I'm not a beginner, and definitely not an expert. I owned a 2001 Suzuki Katana 600 for 10 years. But a kid takes up your weekends. So in that ten years I only got 2K miles in experience. Sold it three years ago.

So now I've got an 2007 RWB with 2K Miles on it and completely stock. Bought it without even seeing in person and had it shipped from Ohio to Virginia. I love it!!!

I've found a rear cowl, blue side cases, and T Rex frame sliders.

Now my focus, besides getting out and riding, is the wiring. I see/read all of the posts and videos about stator/battery/rectifier issues. So a VFRness is next on my list.

Looking forward to getting out on the weekends and exploring the neighborhoods and going out further west and riding in the more" farm country" areas.

Thanks. Any tips on getting my map pin out of the middle of the ocean and near my location?

Gorgeous! Love the wheels, color and the ocho. I'm jealous, my frame sliders say T-Rex on them not VFR.

Welcome the ownership ranks. When they first came out, I was not a huge fan of the RWB but it has sure grown on me since then. If mine ever gives up the ghost, I think I will be looking to replace it with a good RWB. But I will keep my 8 spoke rear wheel to move over to the new bike if that ever happens. Does not appear that this will be next week or anytime soon after though.

When I go thru this set of tires I will be very tempted to invest in the 8 spoke.

Keep an eye on the classifieds here. If one shows up, it usually sells right quick. They are in demand. Sticker prices are a but of a shell shock though so be prepared. That is where I got mine so many years ago. I think it was somewhere around 2012 or so.

I can attest to that. Took me about a year and got mine thru Ebay for I think $300 back in '16. So lucky and very happy to have it. Good luck with the search

Thanks for the advice. My tires are in good shape so I have time to look.
