It will need a bit of work, but I would check it out....possibly grab it.

I don't think that's a bad deal considering what "undamaged" ones are going for..... chicks dig scars if you want to leave it and just ride it. A repaint of the right fairing is the only fix, and that won't be particularly cheap. I don't believe the original VFR decals are available any more.

It's very tempting, I just recently bought some supplies to paint some center caps for rims on my truck, so paint doesn't seem too daunting.

    I'm also eyeing a 2015 dlx listed for 6k.

    New to VFR world.
Plan on owning my first VFR soon(gen 5 most likely). Have had may others and have two bike in the barn now.
    Recently sold my 2000VTR

Other than cosmetics, what "work" will it need?

It does not look as it has been siting in a garage or storage, probably outside under a cover.
If the mileage is correct, that is super low!
That bike it my area would have an asking price of $4500.00. And he would get that or close to it and the post would;d only be up for day./

The CL post is gone. What was the asking price? Just curious to see what viffers are actually going for these days since asking price isn't the sale price.

    Hey Trackdog,

Here's mine, that I literally just put up for sale on this site 10 minutes ago, just for ...ahem...comparison. (actually, it's a shameless plug for my bike)
