That era Magna is one of the few cruisers I enjoyed riding at the shop. It's the reasonably sized front wheel that makes the difference, it actually handles decently. I sold a SHITTE-TONNE of Cobra slip-ons for the Magna. They sounded great.

The 1st gen V-Max was always fun too, except when you wanted to turn or stop.

I've put a few hundred km on it so far and really like it. seating position takes some getting used to coming from the VF but it sounds great, pulls hard and feels pretty balanced. paid a bit more than $600 for it but at least its all original. PO had drag bars on it, I put the stock bars back on but other than that - stock from the factory!

thanks Stray, bought it mainly so my daughter can ride on the back with me (she wasn't a fan of the Interceptor so this is more comfy for her) and because I wanted another V4. it was between this one about 45min away or a 98 Valkyrie that was farther away, more money and in worse shape......

pretty stoked for this bike, WAS gonna take the VF on a trip at the end of the month but I may switch it up and take the Magna!

Bought a solid red '94 Magna 750 as a surprise Christmas gift for my dad back in '99. Rode it quite a bit myself, much better than any 750/800 Honda VT or any other brand mid-size cruiser in terms of power and handling IMO. Dad always wanted the Cobras for it, just never had the extra money and I never was able to find a clean used set cheap enough either. Did have a windshield, highway pegs, and some saddle bags on it.

Only complaint I had was the rear seat was a bit narrow for most adults on longer rides. He had it for maybe 10 years, made a few bucks on it too. Nice score at a killer price. Kudos!
