I have the service manual, it does not go into detail about draining carbs or have the info I was looking for about the fuel pump?
    is there a better manual?
which manual are you talking about?

If you are talking about the Honda Factory Service Manual for your specific model, I guarantee questions like:

    Where is my fuel pump?

Do I have more than 1 fuse?

How do I remove the lowers to access the carb drains?

    Can be answered.

There are illustrations with routing and locations of the hoses and wires for every system on that bike in there. Time to start removing some bodywork and get acquainted with your bike. Take pics, add arrows and circle things, ask follow up questions.

    Okay, yeah I hear you!
I am just a little concerned about removing some of the 30 year old plastics if I do not have to, they are a little brittle!!
I had a few issues taking them off the last time to access the stator!!!

    Thank you for your help.
I WILL do a little more reading.
