Im pretty standard fit too, 5'10" 165-170 lbs, 34" waist, and my muffin top seems to be expanding as I age. Mid 50's and my body is going to shit. I was a lean mean machine in my younger days, now I have the middle age spread. Need to get that in check I think.

He will make them without pockets, with armour and knee sliders if you want, with or without logos (he will replicate Alpinstars or Dianese). all measurements are custom to you. I paid less than $250USD shipped.

    Well... fuck.

I actually found some decent pants that fit me finally at the end of last summer, I and did want some in-the-boot pants anyway too. I think they were Rocket. Nothing flashy, but a solid pant, perhaps a little more stretch panels than leather than I wanted. The supply chain and selection were FUCKED last year.

But I think I will order up some cool over the boot pants this spring.

    Thanks for the lead.

This is my first pair of leather pants, ive typically worn a ballistic pant, or armoured jeans in summer.

Where is this guy located? Kinda interested in a simple black jacket/pants combo... but I am fussy as all get out on fit of my gear...

    How does every thing fit?

    He's in Pakistan.

I was hesitant at first too, but based on feedback from someone else who buys his stuff, I gave him a go. I've currently got 7 of his jackets, and another jacket and pants on the way.

Everything it tailor made to your measurements and totally customizable, armour or not, liners, logos etc.

All my stuff fits perfectly, so if you have someone measure you correctly and tell him how you want it to fit. (tight or loose) you should be ok.

If you see in the earlier threads some of my jackets and info on the options he offers

Any off the shelf gear made in Europe is fucked up, it's like it's made for this guy:

I understand the typical American is totally out of shape and carrying at least 10 extra pounds, but come on, man. I won't buy anything, unless I can try it on, or it's custom from measurements. I did have a custom set of leathers from a manufacturer in Pakistan (I suspect it's the same guy), the fit was right, looked good, but the inner liner fell apart way sooner than it should have and I ended up throwing them in a dumpster.

If I ever do it again, it will be Dainese custom works. The only downside, the price will make your eyes water.

There are A LOT of leather bike gear places in Pakistan NB.

The guy who I got my Repsol bike off tried a few of them before settling on this guy I use now. The Liners on my stuff are all zip in/out liners , you can ride with them in or out.

I have no complaints so far, and the guy who I got the Repsol bike & jacket off, has had no issues with all his to this point in time. (he has several suits and jackets from this guy.

But hey, I do understand the hesitancy of buying off-shore stuff. I was sceptical too.

It is a question of price point. For the price, which was basically what I could afford at the time, it was way better than mesh, IMO. I also felt that it helped subconciously, knowing that you could push and had above average levels of protection. You can't have incredibly high expectations for a suit that costs just shy of a thousand bucks. The suit did last three seasons and I used it a lot. Another downside was the leather took a LONG time to break in, like an inexpensive pair of work boots. When it was finally starting to get really comfortable, it fell apart from the inside.

Like I said, a Dainese Air custom suit is eye watering when it comes to price. A suit like that will cost more than a nice used moto. But man, the feel of those suits is out of this world.

This guy does Kangaroo hide as well as cow hide, which is what the pro suits are made from.

I've been wearing ballistic jackets and Bike Jeans or ballistic pants (ALL with kevlar armour inserts) until recently. I also wear a icon armour vest under my jacket at all times. Ive bitten the pavement only once (THANK GOODNESS its only once), and the ballistic jacket and pants held up very well during the slide, better than I expected.

I dont want to test any gear ever again, once was enough, but certainly does make you appreciate good protection. Now, if I forget to put my Icon vest under may jacket, ill turn around and go home to get it, I feel unprotected without it.

I still dont understand the guys I see riding on the highway with shorts, flip flops, a sleeveless t-shirt , and a helmet. WTF ?

But yea, for the $, these jackets are well worth it, and if they last as long as my buddy's jackets have lasted , ill be very pleased.

Dude...you should see what the riders wear here in TX. It's like Darwin on parade. 180 HP 'Busa 's with no gear or helmet is standard here.

Shorts, flip flops and a t shirt with a German helmet..... sounds like California.... The Land of Fruits and Nuts. Let's not forget the girls with thongs and bikini tops.

them pants were a bit chilly to put on.
