    Hi Jim and welcome to the MadHouse:Welcome:.

    That 8th Gen looks like its almost new. Have fun with it, but looking at the pot-holes on that garage forecourt you might wish to fill up some place else.

    Take care - ATGATT :wheelie::wheelie::wheelie::wheelie:

    HAHA, I rode her until I thought it might run out of fuel and the next fuel stop was to far to risk.
    It is basically brand new, with a little over 800 kilometers it was only just past break in period.
    I'm actually the 3rd owner, first owner broke his back shortly after purchase and second owner only had 3 months or so. He changed fluids and put new tires on it and only rode it for 65 kilometers. I put over 400 kilometers on it in the first 3.5 hours of ownership.

    Regards,
    Jim

    Nice find on the low miles Interceptor Jim : ) I was trying to buy one in Texas with only 504 miles on the clock from a dealer at one point, but they added so many "fees" to the price it was too expensive to go through with it (12K OTD !). So I settled on one from Alabama with 2800 miles on it and had it shipped home. It was exciting to take all the plastics off for first inspection and see a brand spanking "new" engine underneath it all! I want new tires soon though because they seem hard and the rear has a flat spot I can feel while riding. I have nothing but praise for this 8th gen Interceptor : )

    Favorite discovery moment on my new Interceptor so far:
    Sitting behind a car at an intersections red light, turned green. Inattentive driver (probably looking at phone) does not "go" on the green light. While considering the correct timing to use my horn to alert the driver that it's time for us all to press on, I subconsciously start tapping my left index finger against the hand grip and notice that my high beam is flashing on and off as I do. I just discovered have a high beam flash button on this bike. Woot! party time!
    You will say that little things like this really excite me I know, but I did not even see the little black trigger switch when I was changing out the clutch lever two weeks ago. And the best part....I got the drivers attention ahead of me and they moved on : )

    Hello SubyRS,
    Was it a 2015 you looked at in Texas?
    I bought mine from a guy in FL.

    2014. It was this one still for sale at the dealer....because I didn't buy it : ) The price goes way up from the advertised price which is already high, but I was getting desperate! Other issues was no passenger seat, no tool kit, and the biggie, no known vehicle history : / All in all to pay tax, buy missing parts and have it shipped and registered here in california I was looking at over 14k!
