I need a vfr frame and title clean/clear it doesn't matter the year but preferably a 5th gen but 4th or 6th will make do. I'm in Harrisburg pa. Prefer out of state titles so I can transfer title when I want but if pa titled that's fine too we will meet at a title place if so.

Post up an explanation as to why you need a frame and a title. You need to clear the air, something smells funny.

Just requesting a title and frame as a new member is a little hinky, that is likely why there was no response to your last thread.

You're gonna likely have to buy the cheapest POS that has a title and swap everything over. Most of us with extra frames have them because we didn't get titles in the first place, they were parts bikes.

I’ve been a member for over a year just never really post. To answer NorCal boy question since asking for a title and frame is apparently overly strange, dark and mysterious. I wrecked my bike had to get a salvage title and eventually roughly a year later I finally found everything I needed for my bike so as I went to make a appt for enhanced inspection I couldn’t find my salvage title so I gave up. I thought why not just buy a frame and title so I can skip having to rebuy my salvage title then enhanced inspection can cost me less and get me more…

Help me understand the "Title" thing.... can you not go to your local vehicle registry office and get another copy?

Our system is, you get a vehicle registration when you buy a vehicle, ownership is transferred to you. You can carry a photocopy to show the PoPo if necessary, and keep the original in a safe place (many just carry the original). If I lose the original, I go to the local office and for a small fee can get another original on the spot, but you have to be the registered owner and have photo ID to prove who you are.

Pretty much same in Washington. Even if I lose the title (we have titles and registrations), I can sign an affidavit of lost title and for a fee (not big enough to make me look for another frame) get a new one sent to me.

    It would
The salvage title is 53 then enhanced inspection is another 253 then I have to pay to turn that salvage title into a r title paying 96. If I got another frame with a title it could be cheaper and a much quicker process plus it would be a clean clear bike instead of a r titled bike also my frame needed to be fixed which I did so to have a new one would be nice. It looks like I’m just going to pay the 53 because this went no where.
